Sculpture for Leonia is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization established in 2008 with the purpose of enhancing the historically rich art and cultural environment in Leonia, New Jersey through the display of outdoor sculpture. The Erika and David Boyd Sculpture Garden, located at Broad Avenue and Beechwood Place in Leonia, showcases sculptures from artists around the world who provide their pieces on loan. Sculptures, some of which have been donated to the town, have also been placed in different locations including the Leonia public library, schools and parks.

Sculpture for Leonia hosts an array of events and activities throughout the year including Meet the Artist receptions, creative writing competitions, and educational programs at the elementary and middle schools. Sculpture for Leonia’s largest fundraiser, the annual Taste of Leonia, helps fund sculpture installations and other art activities offered to the town. Taking place in the fall, Taste of Leonia is a showcase of the diverse cultures in the area through food and wine. Attendees visit local restaurants and spirit stores for samples of Italian, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, and American foods, as well as wine tasting. The day also includes live music and a silent auction in the Sculpture Garden.

Sculpture for Leonia welcomes those who have a passion for the arts and would like to volunteer to support the committee’s mission and initiatives.
