Superintendent Sean Krakower has been with the Borough of Leonia for 5 years working as the Recreation Departments Program Director for 4 years and Office Manager for 1 year. Prior to working in the Recreation Department’s office he was the Wood Park Summer Camp Director for 2 years. 

Superintendent Krakower is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University in Madison, New Jersey with a degree in Business Administration and Management. The Superintendent of Recreation is under the charge of the Leonia Recreation Commission who are appointed by the Mayor of the Borough. Sean oversees two full time staff members and over 100 part time staff.  The position of Superintendent of Recreation is responsible for the management of programming, the Recreation Center, the parks and playgrounds within Leonia Borough, the Senior Center and its programs and the Leonia Swim Club. 

Sean Krakower is married to Pranvera Qose who is a Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health and Chilton Medical Center. She is currently studying to become a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Rutgers University.
